BioActive Selenium

$30.00

*Pricing updated as of March 2024

Selenium is an essential trace element that places a critical role in thyroid hormone conversion and production along with supporting healthy liver function.

Selenium is an essential trace element that inhibits the oxidation of lipids (fats) and works synergistically with vitamin E to assist in the production of antibodies and maintain healthy liver, pancreas, thyroid, and heart function. It also serves as an antioxidant by activating glutathione peroxidase, an antioxidant enzyme that protects cell membranes from free radicals. Our BioActive Selenium formulation uses L-selenomethionine, a highly bioavailable, yeast-free form of organically-bound selenium chelated with methionine that supports glutathione activity. Unlike inorganic forms of selenium, BioActive Selenium is not adversely affected by vitamin C.

Bottle contains 100 Vegetarian Capsules.
